Functioning primarily as an earth and planetary sciences teaching lab, this classroom is flexible enough to accommodate teaching and learning in many academic disciplines. The triangular tables are custom made for the classroom, and are designed so that students can see one another with ease. Two types of content can be projected on four surfaces, and mobile whiteboards are positioned around the room for use by students sitting at the tables. The room is bathed in natural light, and the choice of natural wood for the tables and a neutral colour palette enhances the aesthetic quality of the room.
